Who are we?

Carefronting – Nigeria is a non-governmental, non-religious, not-political and a not-for-profit making organization assembled in the year 2000 but was formally registered with the Kaduna State Ministry of Youth in December 2004, Kaduna North Local Government in March 2006, the Federal Ministry Of Women Affairs in 2006(Ref: FMWA/WA/389/I, 10th July 2006) and the Corporate Affairs Commission in July, 2012.

 

Carefronting – Nigeria is based in Kaduna. Carefronting – Nigeria is an assemblage of individuals with varied experiences and social works background. Comprising of Preventing and Transforming Violence Extremism (PTVE) Experts, Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) Facilitators, Media experts and Consultants, Strategic Communication facilitators, Women Literacy experts, Disaster preparedness and mitigation trainers, Trauma therapists, counselors, life coaches etc.
We have worked both within and outside the shores  of Nigeria in areas of Preventing and Transforming Violent Extremism (PTVE), Inclusive Security, Trauma Consciousness and Resilience (TCR), Forgiveness and Reconciliation (FaR), Therapeutic Counseling, Community Trauma Healing, Strategic Communication, Alternatives to Violence, Youth Mentoring, Women Empowerment etc.

A peaceful society free of all forms of violence, discrimination and abuse and to promote full participation of youths and women in all sectors of National development.

Mission

Working towards protecting and promoting women, youths and children in all sectors of national development and peace building through the empowerment and integration of all especially youths, in the development process of the nation in all sector and at all levels.
